"White Cell", a collaboration between choreographer Sudhee Liao and artist Andrew Luk consists of an audience interactive movement performance set within an immersive installation. Audience members will don breathable hazmat suits, sunglasses, shoe covers, and hygiene masks over their clothing before entering the installation. In order to illicit participation performers (dancers) are placed within the audience and use touch and the shifting of bodyweight as communicative sensory mechanisms : leaning, pulling, lifting etc. Participants will be kept in the installation for a predetermined period of time.
