de Sarthe's Beijing Gallery is Forced to Relocate

It is with a heavy heart that de Sarthe announces the sudden, forced relocation of its gallery space in Beijing's Caochangdi art district. de Sarthe, along with our neighboring galleries, studios, and restaurants were given two weeks notice to vacate before the immediate demolition of our buildings. The gallery will be closed after the conclusion of Mak Ying Tung 2's current exhibition, "The Anything Machine" on July 22nd.

Founder of de Sarthe Beijing gallery Vincent de Sarthe comments, "It was a pleasure to be part of the Caochangdi art district and we feel fortunate to have had more than three successful years there. We wish all of our neighbors the best in relocating."

Our Hong Kong gallery remains open.
