Eugene Lun was born in 1998 in Hong Kong, China. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Hong Kong Baptist University Academy of Visual Arts (2021) and was awarded the HKOP Award in Printmaking (2021).
Eugene Lun's creative practice investigates the invisible boundaries in daily life and the unspoken rules put forward by the pressures of social conventions and norms. His whimsical imagery challenges not only the conventional etiquettes of society but the traditional modes of art making as well. He often integrates technology such as Augmented Reality (AR) with printmaking and painting, providing a more comprehensive representation to the static graphics.
Eugene Lun lives and works in Hong Kong.
